About Submissions

Herein lies a list of things you might submit to the group, where you should submit them, and what information should be included.

Realm of Elaphaea Character References

Submit to the RoE  group, into the relevant island folder, eg “Shattered Island references”.

Visit the Getting started in RoE page for the full form to include in the artist’s description.

Title the deviation like so:

CHARACTER NAME | GENDER | ISLAND + RANK

Eg, “Ego | Stag | Shattered Island Mage” – abbreviate the herd if you run out of character space, eg “Ego | Stag | SI Mage”

HARPG Character References

Submit to the RoE group, into the appropriate “HARPG References” folder.

HARPG characters live in a stable setting and can take part in the phae Championship Point System.

Visit the Getting started in HARPG page for the full form to include.

Title the submission like so:

NAME | GENDER | HARPG CHAMPIONSHIP RANK

Eg: “Lady | Doe | HARPG Novice”

OC Character References

Submit to the RoE group, into the “OC References” folder.

OCs can exist in any world of your creation, including a stable setting, but cannot breed with HARPG type phae or take part in the Championship Points System. They have their own points called Universe Points.

Visit the Getting started in OCs page for the full form to include.

Title the submission like so:

NAME | GENDER | OC

Eg: “Lucas | Stag | OC”

Submitting Roleplays

The Realm of Elaphaea RPs

Every RoE roleplay deviation that you submit to the group must have this form (also found on the website homepage):

Featuring: (names and links of characters present)

Mentioning: (optional – names and links to characters mentioned but not present)

Season, Year 000 of the Dark Age

Location, Island

For example:

Featuring: Clive & Bob

Mentioning: Effie

Autumn, Year 242 of the Dark Age

The Vale, Shattered Island

Make sure you submit your roleplay to the relevant folder in the RoE group, eg “Shattered Isles RPs”.

OC RPs

Because OC worlds may not be as detailed as RoE, the form is much simpler and requires less information from you!

Please use this form when submitting OC roleplays:

Featuring (names & links of characters present)

OC World Details (link to OC world at minimum)

Make sure you submit your roleplay to the relevant folder in the RoE group!  For OCs, use the “OC Art and Stories” folder!

HARPG RPs or Show Entries

HARPG phae worlds may also not be as detailed as RoE, and this form, too is simple!  Whenever you are doing stable life or collab images, feel free to use this form:

Please use this form when submitting HARPG roleplays/stable life pieces:

Featuring: (names & links of characters present)

Location: (name of stable/show/place they are at)

Rider/Handler Name: (optional, only if depicted)

Please use this form when submitting show entries.  This helps our HARPG mods keep track of CP easier.

Phae Name: (name and link to profile)

Rider/Handler Name: (if applicable to class)

Stable Name

Show Entering: (link to show journal or page)

Class: (show jumping 1, cross country 4, etc)

Make sure you submit your roleplay to the relevant folder in the RoE group!  For HARPG, use the “HARPG Art and Stories” folder!

For more information on roleplaying, and general etiquette, check out the About roleplaying journal.

Other Gallery Submissions

Plot Request Journals

After having a character accepted, most people go straight to making an RP request journal. All types of phae may submit Plot Request journals to the group, so don’t be shy if you want to get out there and interact with your fellow members!

When submitting your plot request journal, include the following in the deviation:

  • Character name and link to their accepted profile
  • Kingdom/OC World/Stable where the plot will take place
  • What types of characters you are looking for
  • What the plot is about
    • Or, include multiple if you’re looking for many RPs!

Title the submission with your plot headline, eg:

“Lolly looking for sparring partners in OC world” or “ABC Pegasus looking for a show friend in HARPG”

You can be as detailed or nondescript as you want when describing your plot, but it is recommended that you let your fellow RP seekers know at least a little bit of what you’re up to!  This helps draw people to your journal and ideas (:

For more information on roleplaying and general etiquette, check out the About roleplaying journal.

Breeding Request Journals

If you are looking for a place to request a breeding, this is the place to submit those!

What to submit:

  • Rut journals for RoE does or stags
  • Available breedings in your HARPG stable or OC world
  • Request for parents for a specific breeding
    • I.e. a Lord and Princess for a Princess fawn
  • Requests looking for another parent
    • I.e. a doe for a stag

And more!  If it has to do with breeding, the “Breeding Request Journals” is your best bet!

Remember to be polite and don’t harass members to give you a breeding you want.  If the character is available, they will let you know (:

Events and Classifieds

This folder is the home of advertisements in the RoE group! With the widest range of options for submission, if your submission does not fit into either a Breeding Request or Roleplay request, it probably belongs here!

What to submit:

  • Commission Journals or other sales
    • MUST be phae related
  • Member run fawn or character auctions
  • Member run contests
    • Such as a design contest
  • “Looking for” journals:

Tutorials and Resources

This folder is the home of member-made resources or tutorials!  Because RoE is full of wonderful and helpful people, many members have created resources that are free for everyone’s use!  Resources can either be free or paid, so be sure you look carefully before you use anything!

What to submit:

  • Tutorials or art walkthroughs
  • Anatomy help
  • Lines or bases
  • Reference formats or templates
  • Free to use backgrounds
  • Helpful walkthroughs and guides
    • Such as “How to Bacon” or “How to Update an Image”
  • Unofficial Memes

If you have a helpful resource you would like to provide to the group, this is the place for your submission!

If you use a resource, be sure to credit the person who created the resource!  They might be more than happy to know their help was appreciated!
